1860 Birthday of prolific producer Daniel Frohman (1860-1915) who, often in collaboration with his brothers Daniel and Gustave, produced dozens of Broadway shows including Sherlock Holmes, The Girl from Maxims, Barbara Frietchie, When Knighthood Was in Flower and Captain Jinks of the Horse Marines. In one busy stretch, September and October 1902, he opened 12 plays on Broadway....
